Zorzi Goes on Rampage Against Human Beings Monday, May 22nd, 2023 Lauro Zorzi really did a number on the Human Beings -- but Albuquerque retaliated and did a number on the Princes -- they beat them 7-6. Not just anyone can get 5 hits in 5 at-bats. But Zorzi did just that today for Bel Air and gave his batting average a healthy boost, but did not deliver the victory. "I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 20-year-old shortstop said after his record-setting performance. "I just wish we had won the game, too." Lauro Zorzi singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 9th. This season Zorzi is batting at a .323 clip with 3 home runs and 26 RBIs. |
