Maqbool Picked Best Player Monday, May 8th, 2023 So far in his young career, Bhasin Maqbool has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the August Herrman League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 19-year-old Beach City Seals catcher hit at a torrid .421 clip as he collected 8 hits in 19 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Thus far this season in 28 games Maqbool is batting .347 with 9 home runs, 26 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has 33 hits in 95 at-bats. |
