Pryor Cracks 5 Hits Tuesday, April 18th, 2023 If just anyone could go out and hit a baseball, big dollar contracts wouldn't exist. But they can't, so the good hitters get the big bucks. Britt Pryor showed how it's done as he went 5 for 5 against the Austin Hipsters and helped the Bethesda Hornets beat them 4-3. The manager for the Hipsters told the BNN sportswriters, "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it. That's the game of baseball. Don't make mistakes and you win a lot more ballgames." If Pryor keeps hitting like this, he could be headed for a big pay raise. Britt Pryor doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 10th. This season Pryor is batting .429 with 24 hits and 2 home runs. He has scored 11 times and has 14 RBI. |
