Alvarado of Coney Island Crowned Best Player Monday, April 10th, 2023 When it came to hitting the baseball, Luis Alvarado was in a class by himself in the Buck O'Neil League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding third baseman for Coney Island tagged opposing pitchers for a .542 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 13 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 homers, 9 runs scored and 7 RBIs. |
