August Herrman League Names Best Hitter Friday, November 4th, 2022 Jon Pittman of the Westside Road Warriors had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Silver Slugger Award for 2022. The 18-year-old right fielder put up a .438 average and a .509 on-base percentage, piling up 221 hits, 30 doubles, 15 triples, 14 home runs, 107 RBIs and 128 runs scored.José González of the Beach City Seals finished second in voting, while Yusuf Swati of the Beach City Seals finished third. |
