Pittman Week's Top Player Monday, September 5th, 2022 18-year-old Jon Pittman made a few Westside headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and August Herrman League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 24 at-bats to put up a .542 average. Pittman collected 1 home run, 9 RBIs and scored 7 runs. So far this season Pittman has put up a .421 batting average with 182 hits, 11 home runs and 86 RBIs. |
