Hits Galore: Pittman Drills 5 Hits Monday, August 29th, 2022 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Westside's Jon Pittman had a very special day against the Stealers when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Westside Road Warriors to a 9-2 win at Road Warriors Field. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Pittman said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Jon Pittman singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and hit a two-run single in the 7th. So far this season, Pittman has recorded a .421 batting average with 174 hits, 10 home runs, 82 RBIs, 97 runs scored and a .495 OBP. |
