AHL Star of the Week Announced Monday, August 15th, 2022 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the August Herrman League, but last week Octávio Valenzuela of the Cherry Hill Stealers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Valenzuela rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (7-14), 3 home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Valenzuela is hitting at a .295 pace with 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and has scored 5 times. |
