Jiménez Belts 3 HR for Bums Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 Gilberto Jiménez went on a hitting rampage at Envoys Ballpark today and got membership in the select club of hitters who have hit three home runs in a game. He walloped three into the stands to pace the Bums to a 17-8 victory over the Whitewater Eagles. The Palm Beach right fielder collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, drove in 7 and scored 4 runs. After his three-home run game he said this to the press: "I have been making solid contact lately, but not getting any lift. Today I got it up in the air and out of the ballpark. I had my home run swing down pat. Got some good pitches to hit, too." Gilberto Jiménez hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, walked in a run in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
