Barrage of Hits Gets Jacobse AHL Award Monday, August 1st, 2022 Eddy Jacobse burst onto the August Herrman League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie center fielder for Albuquerque garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 18-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .500 (11-22) with 1 home run and 3 RBIs last week. So far this season, Jacobse has recorded a .278 batting average with 111 hits, 3 home runs, 32 RBIs, 59 runs scored and a .354 OBP. |
