Big Day with Bat: Villa 6-6 Sunday, July 17th, 2022 6 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Palm Beach's Ricardo Villa had a very special day against the Stealers when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 6 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Palm Beach Bums to a 20-9 win at Tim Raines Stadium. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Villa said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Ricardo Villa doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, hit a three-run triple in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Looking at his season stats, Villa has compiled a .333 batting average and a .468 on-base percentage, while hitting no home runs and driving in 18 runs. |
