Gonzáles Chosen #1 Player Monday, July 11th, 2022 So far in his young career, Alberto Gonzáles has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Buck O'Neil League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old New Orleans Jedi Knights left fielder hit at a torrid .593 clip as he collected 16 hits in 27 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 12 runs scored. Thus far this year Gonzáles has hit .465 with 4 home runs and 19 RBIs. |
