Pittman Hits in 25 Straight Games Friday, July 1st, 2022 Jon Pittman ran his hitting streak to 25 straight games today at The Aerie, when he collected 2 hits in 4 at-bats. "Hey, the streak is great. I hope it never ends. But I'm not happy when we lose the game," was his comment after Westside was beaten 2-0 by the Whitewater Eagles. "The scoreboard tells the whole story." Jon Pittman grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th and singled in the 7th. This year Pittman has hit 6 home runs and posted a .397 batting average. |
