Anderson Top Hitter in AHL in June Friday, July 1st, 2022 Derrek Anderson has a lot going for him. The Palm Beach left fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the August Herrman League has just picked him as its top hitter for June. In 27 games last month, this outstanding rookie batted .408 with 7 home runs, 31 RBIs and 19 runs scored. This season in 76 games, Anderson has hit at a .328 clip with 99 hits, 14 home runs, 65 RBIs and 51 runs scored. |
