Vikings SP Herrera Out Sunday, June 19th, 2022 The Victoria Vikings were informed today by team doctors that starting pitcher Júlio Herrera sustained a torn flexor tendon in his elbow in a recent game against the Chippewa River Chiefs and will not play for 9-10 months. Herrera was hurt throwing a pitch. Up to now Herrera has recorded a record of 3-1. In 15 starts he has fanned 106 batters in 89.2 innings with a 3.21 ERA. |
