BOL Announces Player of the Week Monday, May 30th, 2022 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Buck O'Neil League, but last week Masamichi Fujita of the Chippewa River Chiefs reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Fujita rocked opposing pitching for a .526 average (10-19), 3 home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. For the season Fujita is currently batting .285 with 6 home runs and 29 RBIs. In 49 games he has reached base at a .410 rate and scored 28 runs to date. |
