Raman Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Monday, May 16th, 2022 Who needs batting practice? Adhivahana Raman of Coney Island apparently doesn't as he battered Barrow with a 5-hit outburst in today's game to lead his club to a 13-5 win. He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. Wow, this was really something... a 5 for 6 day... will my name be in the record books now?" Adhivahana Raman grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year Raman is batting .474 with 27 hits and 2 home runs. He has scored 19 times and has batted in 16 runs. |
