Sadakuno Matsumoto Captures BOL Award Monday, May 16th, 2022 So far in his young career, Sadakuno Matsumoto has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Buck O'Neil League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Victoria Vikings catcher hit at a torrid .524 clip as he collected 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored. In 32 games this season Matsumoto has batted at a .387 pace with 53 hits and 8 home runs. |
