Barrow Halts Vedavyasa's Hitting Steak Saturday, May 14th, 2022 Jedi Knights left fielder Vij Vedavyasa was one of the hottest hitters in baseball, coming into today's game against Barrow with a 21-game hitting streak. However, the Frosties put a chill in his bat, at least for today, and held him hitless in 4 at-bats during the Barrow 6-0 triumph at The Blizzard Bowl. This year Vedavyasa has collected a .262 batting average to date with 37 hits in 141 at-bats, 12 RBIs, 2 home runs and scored 19 times. He has played in 36 games. |
