Ruíz Earns BOL Player of the Week Monday, May 9th, 2022 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Buck O'Neil League, but last week Júlio Ruíz of the New Orleans Jedi Knights reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Ruíz rocked opposing pitching for a .536 average (15-28), 5 home runs and 11 RBIs to come away with the award. To date, Ruíz has collected 40 hits for a .392 average. He has posted 9 home runs, scored 22 runs and driven in 26 runs. |
