AHL Star of the Week Named Monday, May 2nd, 2022 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the August Herrman League, but last week José González of the Beach City Seals reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. González rocked opposing pitching for a .444 average (12-27), 1 home run and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. This year González is batting .352 with 2 home runs. |
