Star of the Week Selected in BOL Monday, April 25th, 2022 So far in his young career, Abid Alamdar has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Buck O'Neil League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 19-year-old New Orleans Jedi Knights center fielder hit at a torrid .545 clip as he collected 12 hits in 22 at-bats, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 7 runs scored. So far this year, Alamdar is batting .406 with 3 home runs and 10 RBIs. |
