AHL Star of the Week Announced Monday, April 25th, 2022 27-year-old Stanley Bounds made a few West Virginia headlines during this past week as the rookie catcher proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and August Herrman League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 25 at-bats to put up a .480 average. Bounds collected 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 6 runs. In his 2022 season totals, Bounds has 6 home runs, .353 BA, .426 OBP, 20 RBIs and 10 runs scored. |
