Red-Hot Durango Scorches Warriors Sunday, April 17th, 2022 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Victoria's Tony Durango had a very special day against the Warriors when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Victoria Vikings to a 18-4 win at The Barn. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Durango said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Tony Durango singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. This season Durango has hit 2 home runs and posted a .377 batting average. |
