Buck O'Neil League Names Top Hitter Friday, November 5th, 2021 2021 was a very good year for New Orleans Jedi Knights center fielder Júlio Pérez, this year's Buck O'Neil League Silver Slugger Award recipient. Pérez had an impressive season, hitting .336 with a .497 on-base percentage. He totaled 162 hits, 24 doubles, 5 triples, 16 home runs, 83 RBIs and scored 129 runs.Amador Bagadion of the New Orleans Jedi Knights finished second in voting, while Keith MacKinder of the Coney Island Cyclones finished third. |
