Bounds Red-Hot, AHL Player of the Week Monday, September 27th, 2021 There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Stanley Bounds, the West Virginia catcher, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the August Herrman League Player of the Week honors. Bounds piled up 13 hits in 27 at-bats, 4 home runs and 12 RBIs while hitting .481. Looking at his stats this year, Bounds has compiled a .282 batting average, while hitting 22 home runs and driving in 97 runs. He has played in 140 games and scored 82 runs. |
