AHL's Top Hitter Named Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 When it came to hitting the baseball, Gilberto Jiménez had few August Herrman League peers in August. The right fielder for Palm Beach mauled opposing pitchers for a .387 batting average and was voted the league's best batter for the month. He finished with some strong stats: 5 home runs, 22 RBIs, 24 runs scored, 12 walks and a .472 on-base percentage. Currently Jiménez is batting .308 with 10 home runs and 50 RBIs. |
