Soo-yeon Park Out for 7 Months Saturday, July 24th, 2021 Watching Soo-yeon Park getting helped off the field today at The Barn, fans of the Winfield Warriors feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the reliever will miss 7 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Park suffered the injury throwing a pitch in the game against the River Chiefs. Season-to-date Park has no saves in 12 relief appearances with a 0-0 record and 7.66 ERA. |
