Matsumoto Cracks 5 Hits Sunday, June 27th, 2021 Victoria catcher Sadakuno Matsumoto really lit up the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws with a 5-hit barrage today at Penlee Park -- a performance that sparked the Vikings to a 7-1 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Sadakuno Matsumoto singled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. So far this season Matsumoto has gotten 78 hits in 266 at-bats for a .293 batting average with 3 home runs. His stats include 37 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has played in 65 games. |
