Bad Behavior Costs Rodríguez and Pollard Thursday, June 17th, 2021 The fans at The Barn saw it all yesterday in the Warriors-Jedi Knights game -- pushes, shoves, scuffles, a few tackles, a few swings, a few feeble punches -- and a baseball game, too. When the ruckus was over, only two players were sent to the showers by the umpire crew. Winfield's Gilberto Rodríguez and New Orleans's Carl Pollard were ejected from the game. Today the two players were suspended 8 games by the league commissioner. This year Rodríguez is batting .316 with 24 hits, 2 home runs, 15 RBIs, 8 walks, .395 OBP and has scored 8 runs. |
