League Gives Escobedo 3-Game Suspension Thursday, June 10th, 2021 "Deplorable conduct will not be tolerated in this league, especially if it is directed toward our umpires." That was the gist of the league commissioner's notification letter to the Bel Air Princes organization advising them that center fielder Félix Escobedo had been suspended for 3 games for his heated confrontation with the home plate umpire in yesterday's game with Westside. He became furious over a called third strike. Escobedo is batting .273 this year with 1 home run, 12 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 35 hits in 128 at-bats. |
