Buck O'Neil League Names Bravo Best Batter Monday, May 17th, 2021 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Buck O'Neil League, but last week Bartolo Bravo of the New Orleans Jedi Knights reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Bravo rocked opposing pitching for a .481 average (13-27), 2 home runs and 12 RBIs to come away with the award. Presently Bravo is batting .280 with 44 hits and 4 home runs. He has knocked in 22 runs and scored 35 times. |
