Seals Chávez and River Chiefs Katayama Suspended for Fight

Ramiro Chávez of the Beach City Seals and Suezo Katayama of the Chippewa River Chiefs received official notice today from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended 7 games for their roles in the on-field disturbance in a recent game at Silvery Lane Field.

This year Chávez is hitting .185 with no home runs and 10 RBIs in 29 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .245 with 6 walks and 8 runs scored.
