Players Suspended in Hornets-Warriors Donnybrook Sunday, April 25th, 2021 Ross MacLaine of the Bethesda Hornets and Sancho Ortega of the Winfield Warriors got into a wrestling match yesterday at Hornets Field and now must pay the consequences for violating league rules. They have both been assessed 5-game suspensions by the league for inciting the heated altercation between the two clubs. So far this season MacLaine is hitting .182 with no home runs, 10 RBIs and 5 runs scored. He has 8 hits in 44 at-bats and a .296 OBP. So far in 7 appearances this season, Ortega has recorded 1 win and sustained no losses. He has pitched 13.2 innings, yielded 11 hits, fanned 18 and has a 1.32 ERA. |
