Wolverines Lose Bud Eldridge Saturday, October 4th, 2025 Bud Eldridge of the Wichita Wolverines was injured in today's game against Cincinnati and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is shoulder inflammation and he is expected to be out for up to 4 months. It happened while Eldridge was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." To this point in the season, Eldridge has rung up 15 saves in 31 relief appearances. He has also crafted a 3.27 ERA, 3 wins and 4 losses and 30 strikeouts in 33 innings. |
