Oakes Named ACL Batter of the Month Wednesday, October 1st, 2025 John Oakes made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Alexander Cartwright League this past month. The Pacifica Shamrocks second baseman shone through the month of September and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 21-year-old hit .357 with 5 home runs, 25 RBIs and 31 runs scored. Oakes is hitting .330 so far this season with 79 RBIs and 87 runs scored. He has 186 hits including 12 home runs, 71 walks and .410 OBP. |
