GONE! 3 HRs for Sasaki Saturday, September 27th, 2025 Masamichi Sasaki went on a hitting rampage at The Clone Army today and got membership in the select club of hitters who have hit three home runs in a game. He walloped three into the stands to pace the Storm Troopers to a 12-5 victory over the Spokane Bulldogs. The San Antonio right fielder collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 5 and scored 3 runs. After his three-home run game he said this to the press: "I have been making solid contact lately, but not getting any lift. Today I got it up in the air and out of the ballpark. I had my home run swing down pat. Got some good pitches to hit, too." Masamichi Sasaki flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off José Valentín in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Manny Calderón in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Jamie Heaman in the 8th. Sasaki is batting .325 this season in 107 games with 20 home runs, 88 RBIs and 74 runs scored. He has 115 hits in 354 at-bats. |
