West Coast Starting Pitcher Out Saturday, August 23rd, 2025 The West Coast Defenders will lose the services of starting pitcher Fernando Otero after he sustained radial nerve compression while throwing a pitch in today's game against the New York Ninjas. "I'll get through it," Otero said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 4 months. Thus far this season Otero has posted a 9-4 record, started 26 games, struck out 153 batters in 135 innings and compiled a 3.20 ERA. |
