Sasaki Slaps 5 Hits Sunday, August 10th, 2025 The Storm Troopers whipped the Ducks 9-1 at Long Island Stadium and Masamichi Sasaki had a big hand in the win. The Storm Troopers right fielder came to the plate 6 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Sasaki and a tough day for Long Island. "I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." Plan or not, Sasaki delivered today -- 5-for-6 is outstanding in any league. Masamichi Sasaki singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Sasaki is currently batting .319 with 8 home runs, 43 RBIs and 46 runs scored. He has 74 hits in 232 at-bats. |
