The Buzzard's Bay first baseman sprayed hits all over the ballpark by lashing Newark pitching for 6 hits in 7 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that he just hit it where they pitched it. "Too often I try to pull the ball too much. Today I just went with the pitch." Kojuro Ine singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Mario Robles in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, walked in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
