ACL Names Red Bulls Cheng Winner Monday, August 4th, 2025 25-year-old Tian-bai Cheng made a few Riverside headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Alexander Cartwright League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 22 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Cheng collected 1 home run, 8 RBIs and scored 4 runs. Cheng currently has a .297 batting average with 102 hits, 12 homers, 61 RBIs, 48 runs scored and a .369 OBP. |
