Hesmondhalgh Sizzles in No-Hitter Tuesday, July 29th, 2025 In a brilliant performance at The Clone Army, San Antonio pitcher Maurice Hesmondhalgh entered an elite group today by tossing a no-hitter against the Boise Hawks. Hurling a complete game he fanned 14 and walked 3 in the 4-0 victory. In the clubhouse, Hesmondhalgh said, "I was getting my off-speed stuff over so they couldn't sit on the fastball. My guys made some nice plays behind me, too, and cut off several hits." For the season Hesmondhalgh has logged 9 wins and 3 losses and struck out 116 batters in 95.2 innings while compiling a 3.20 ERA. |
