Star of the Week Picked in ACL Monday, July 14th, 2025 24-year-old Bernardo Rodríguez made a few Frisco headlines during this past week as the rookie shortstop proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Alexander Cartwright League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 14 hits in 27 at-bats to put up a .519 average. Rodríguez collected no home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 4 runs. Rodríguez on the season is hitting .400 with no home runs. His stats include 11 RBIs and 8 runs scored. |
