Puri and Price Suspended 7 Games For Brawl Friday, July 4th, 2025 You would have thought you were at a hockey game yesterday at Confucius Field. A free-for-all broke out when Anujestha Puri of New York and Austin Price of Long Island rushed one another on the field and had to be restrained by umpires and teammates. Few blows landed, but it was enough for them to be ejected from the game. Today both teams received notification from the league office that the two players would be suspended for 7 games. In 2025 Puri has hit at a .231 clip with 15 hits, 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and has scored 11 times. So far this season, Price has compiled a 2-2 won-lost mark with no saves and a 5.18 ERA. In 24.1 innings he has fanned 31 and opponents are hitting him at a .274 clip. |
