Hawks Wang Named FFL's Best Pitcher Tuesday, July 1st, 2025 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Lan-fang Wang, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Boise Hawks reliever, 25, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .180 average and walked away with the Ford Frick League Pitcher of the Month award for June. Wang posted a 3-0 mark and a 1.80 ERA in 11 relief appearances. In 15 innings, he had 6 saves, 10 strikeouts, and 5 walks. During this season Wang has delivered 11 saves. In 26 relief appearances, he has 25 strikeouts in 31.1 innings with a 4.31 ERA and 4 wins and 2 losses. |
