Shimizu: Big Hit in the Ford Frick League Monday, June 9th, 2025 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Ford Frick League, but last week Rintaro Shimizu of the Spokane Bulldogs reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Shimizu rocked opposing pitching for a .414 average (12-for-29), 2 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. In the 2025 season Shimizu is hitting .295 with 7 home runs. |
