FFL's #1 Player, Fitzgerald of Long Island Monday, June 2nd, 2025 So far in his young career, Michael Fitzgerald has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Ford Frick League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Long Island Ducks left fielder hit at a torrid .630 clip as he collected 17 hits in 27 at-bats, 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This season Fitzgerald is batting .327 with 56 hits and 5 home runs. He has scored 26 times and has 24 runs batted in. |
