Jaramillo Raps Jacksonville for 5 Hits Tuesday, May 27th, 2025 "Ever since I picked up my first bat my coaches were always saying to keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing... just make contact and ya never know what'll happen," Juan Jaramillo told reporters after the game. "That's all I did today. I made contact and it turned out well." It definitely turned out well for the Ottawa third baseman today as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats against Jacksonville. But not so good for his team, as the Hellcats took the game at Hellcats Park, whipping the Outlaws 8-6. Juan Jaramillo singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Javier Galindo in the 9th. This season Jaramillo is batting .382 with 63 hits, 3 home runs, 23 RBIs, .469 OBP and has scored 34 runs. |
