Hellcats Meaker ACL Hitter of the Week Monday, May 26th, 2025 It was some kind of week for Spencer Meaker of the Jacksonville Hellcats. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .429 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Alexander Cartwright League. Last week Meaker went 12-for-28, chalked up 3 home runs and 6 RBIs and scored 7 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. So far this season Meaker is batting .275 with 4 home runs, 21 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 47 hits in 171 at-bats, 12 walks and a .321 OBP. Meaker has played in 44 games. |
