Oakes Hits in 20 Straight Games Friday, May 23rd, 2025 The number just keeps getting higher and higher. Shamrocks second baseman John Oakes has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it with 1 hit in the Pacifica 4-3 win over the Black Knights at McCormick Field. John Oakes struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, struck out in the 8th and struck out in the 10th. For the year Oakes has hit at a .326 clip with 24 RBIs, 4 home runs and 26 runs scored. |
